Privacy Policy
What we collect
- If you make an account: your email address and password (stored by our sign-in provider, Supabase), your callsign, and your game save.
- Social features: friends, crews, trades, market listings, 1v1 results, quick-chat emotes and reports you send or receive.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, and the amount. Stripe processes the payment. We never receive your card number.
- Game analytics: a random ID created by your browser (not linked to your name unless you're signed in), when you play, and game events such as opening your first crate, landing on a planet or finishing a match. We also record your screen size, game version and the website that sent you to the game. We use this to see whether players come back and where the game is confusing.
- Crash logs and bug reports: error messages and, if you send a bug report, what you wrote along with your game version, planet and level.
How we use it
We use it to run the game, keep your progress, deliver purchases, stop cheating and abuse, fix bugs, and make the game better. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Supabase: our database and sign-in service.
- Stripe: payments.
- GitHub Pages: hosts the game's website.
Your browser's storage
The game saves your progress, settings and the random analytics ID in your browser's local storage. Clearing your site data removes them. If you have an account, your cloud save stays safe.
Kids
Anyone can play without an account, and playing that way doesn't require any personal information. Children under 13 should get a parent's or guardian's permission before making an account. If you're a parent and think your child gave us personal information without your permission, contact us and we'll delete it.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep account data while your account exists. Analytics events and crash logs are used in summary and may be deleted after a year. To delete your account and data, contact us using the link below and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we'll let you know in the game.
